The quick draw competition is open to all professional category artists. Please indicate on the registration form that you will be participating in the quick draw competition. There is an additional fee for this event.
The quick draw competition will be held on Saturday September 25th at State Park Boardwalk and Marina Area located at 10 State Park Road ( across from the Morro Bay Golf Course and Campground area.) from 2-5pm. You must be ready to paint at 2pm. If you are late, you may still paint but forfeit any lost time. Registration for the quick draw will begin at Noon at State Park Boardwalk and Marina.
Quick Draw artists will have 3 hours to paint from 2-5pm. You may choose the site you wish to paint within the State Park Boardwalk and marina Area. Please see location pictures to view area options. Wet paintings must be framed and delivered to Tidelands Park immediately following the end of the competition. All quick draw paintings will be previewed at the art party at Tidelands park from 5-7pm. A live auction will take place at 7pm. You may place a reserve on you painting.
